I have been attending Laura at Body Awareness for the past year or more. I first attended Laura for a shoulder problem that had become so debilitating I couldn't drive or work properly. My shoulder problems was treated with a varied approach i.e. neuromuscular therapy, deep tissue massage and strengthening exercises. As my problem was postural Laura designed a pilates program for me to follow at home which I did but I also attend Body Awareness now for private pilates tuition on the mat and reformer which I have found fantastic for strengthenin my neck, shoulders, back and hips. My whole body shape has changed with the pilates and I have reduced my dress size as well!
I have follow up treatments ever 6 weeks and feel my overall health and wellbeing is so much better. My shoulder problem is now completely resolved and I have much more energy from practicing the pilates. I would recommend body awareness to anyone looking for bodywork or wanting to tone up and look good.

By following Laura’s holistic approach, in a very short space of time I was seeing real results. I had more energy, I was eating and sleeping better, and my posture and body-shape improved dramatically. The one to one approach ensures that the programme I follow is designed to meet my specific needs and Laura provides just the right amount of motivation to help me achieve my goals. In addition I have learned breathing and relaxation techniques which allow me to manage my stress levels.
