Dr. Accardi, Chiropractor moved to Dublin with his family in 2000. Prior to that, Tony had a private Chiropractic practise in New York for 16 years.
Dr. Accardi is a proud 1983 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, Davenport, Iowa. Davenport is the birthplace of Chiropractic.
Dr. Accardi is a very active member of the Chiropractic Association of Ireland who are the sole governing body of Chiropractic in the country.
Dr. Accardi, Chiropractor specialises in cranial adjusting which is especially important for newborns, babies suffering from colic, toddlers, etc.
What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic is a natural health care treatment. The main focus of Chiropractic treatment is to address the cause of symptoms arising from a mal-functioning spine. Chiropractic is based on a basic premise - with a normally functioning spine and a healthy lifestyle, your body is more capable of healing itself of every condition known to exist.
That is because the spinal cord which is protected by the spine is the main pathway of energy coming from the brain to the rest of the body. When the spine is out of alignment, Chiropractors apply pressure with their hands to reposition the vertebra. This Chiropractic treatment is called spinal adjustment. These adjustments improve mobility, which then reduces pressure on nerves, thus leading to relief from pain and associated symptoms.
