Contacted them to provide a trailer and retrieve ~2.5 tonnes of topsoil from a building site and drop it to my house about 5 mins from the site. They agreed to this and price was reasonable
They weren't in a position to do it in the next day or two but it would be Tues/Wed next week at the latest, which was fine.
On Tuesday morning got a call ~8am asking to confirm the address and saying that someone would arrive that morning. Soon after got a text message saying can't find the address on sat nav will leave until tomorrow at 8.30.
On Wednesday morning no contact til I rang them at 2pm. Not much of an explanation saying one person in a meeting that morning and the other had to do something else. I wasn't too happy at this stage and made that clear. Was told that I could go elsewhere if I wanted that it wasn't much to them. Told that they would be there the next day at 8am.
Thursday morning someone arrived at 9 asking what we wanted picked up from the house (?) and had to be given the instructions again. I then got an irate call saying that their man had been asked to do additional work when he had called to be paid. Told him what had occurred and he said he would fine out what was happening. No contact from either until I rang again to be told that they weren't going to do the job since they had wasted too much time already. There was more to the conversation on both sides which is not worth going into, but no satisfaction to be had
