Another Week Closer to Christmas
Christmas is fast approaching, I cant believe how quick the year has gone. Last Friday evening I was at the grand opening of one of The H Factor one of our featured businesses, Must say everything went really well and a great crowd turned out, Darragh O Shea performed the honours of cutting the ribbon and we were all treated to really nice wine and food. The wine was so nice I ended up drinking far too much and felt the effects the following morning!!
Meave Barry looked after the PR side of things and did a fantastic job, she really knows her stuff when it comes to PR. Anyone looking to refurbish their bathroom for Christmas should visit The H Factor and check out the great range of quality products on offer, Jed and Catherine will be glad to give you any advice on their products.
Saturday Toireasa Ferris married her long term boyfriend Pa and I was at the reception at Ballyroe Heights Hotel, a great night was had by all. I went to Kerins O Rahillys munster club championship match with Clonakilty in Austin Stack Park on Sunday to see Tommy Walsh's last game before he heads to foreign shores to take up a professional contract in Australia, his club mate David Moran is also heading with him on a two week trial. These two excellent footballers will be a hugh loss to Kerry football if David is also offered a contract and along with Tadgh Kennelly's return to Sidney this will be a major loss for Jack O Connor and the Kerry team. I hope we unearth a few new faces for the Kerry team for next year.
Just a word of warning, i was speaking to a member of the Guards the weekend and he was telling me about people selling second hand power tools door to door around Kerry at the moment, most of these are stolen and by anybody purchasing these items they are fuelling this trade, Please do not support these people, and most lightly they are also casing out your property whilst they are trying to sell you these stolen items, please report any unusual activity to the Guards.
