Easter In Tralee

With Good Friday just two days away and the Easter holiday season upon us yet again there is a great line up of festivities and entertainment lined up in Tralee for next week. The Tir na nOg family festival and Big Tent are two major attractions that orgainisers Holiday Tralee hope will bring crowds to Tralee for the week. The orgainisers have put alot of work into this event and hopefully they will get the support of locals and tourists alike to bring a much needed economic boost the the town.

The Tir na nOg festival runs from April 1st to 11th and is geared towards families with a good line up of events while The Big Tent runs from April 3rd to April 10th and is aimed towards music lovers with a good line up of live bands beginning with The Spirals Renunion on Saturday night which should attract a hugh crowd, the orgainisers have promised that drinks will be at pub prices and admission is €10.00.

Tralee has alot to offer people and this weekend hopefully large crowds will travel to the town and have a great weekend. With a great selection of restaurants and bars, tourist attractions and other recreational activities in the area, Tralee makes for an excellent destination. I know the weather has taken a turn for the worse but hopefully it will not be too bad for the weekend ahead!
