New Publication being launched for North Kerry

A new weekly publication called The North Kerry Voice will be launched in July covering local news around north Kerry plus all the usual elements found in a local newspaper. 

Each week the paper hopes to give one/two pages to local business matters including case studies of businesses based in North Kerry.

Through the case studies The North Kerry Voice hope to cover three main areas:

 1. Businesses set up since the economy slumped and who have benefitted despite of, and maybe because of, the difficult economic climate.

2. Businesses that set up prior to the economic slump, how have they coped in tough economic conditions, and how they plan to see their way out of straitened times.

3. How new businesses starting up find north Kerry as a location to do business, what difficulties/opportunities are present locally. Also, for import/export led companies what are the advantages or drawbacks of locating in Kerry. As our mooted economic revival is expected to be export led, what does Kerry/north Kerry need to do to get in the act.
