Meet the Team
Paul Chapman is the man responsible for the content on our regional and national pages. As thebestof’s Commercial Director, Paul works closely with our local site owners, but if you know of a fantastic business who we should be shouting about on these pages, he’s the man to get in touch with. He’s in the office most days, and he’d love to hear from you!

Nigel Botterill is the Chief Executive of thebestof. Nigel started his career at Barclays before moving onto become Marketing Director at mobile phone airtime business, Singlepoint and then to Card Protection Plan as Managing Director. Fed up with making money for other people, Nigel set up his own company in 2002, and after finding huge success with his first business, My Mag, he launched thebestof three years later. Nigel remains very excited by the opportunities and challenges that thebestof throws up, and he’s very involved in the day-to-day management of the business.

Technical Director Nigel Davis joined the team in January 2008 bringing over 20 years of software development experience to the team.

Andy Hurst became thebestof’s Managing Director in 2007, joining our team from City Lofts, where he was Group Sales and Marketing Director. Andy’s career started at the Rover Group, where he worked his way up to Brand Director for Land Rover in the late 90’s. In 2000 he joined AXA UK as Director of Brand development, and moved from there to Taylor Woodrow, as group Sales and Marketing Director, before his appointment at City Lofts. Andy is the cool and calm head of an excitable and animated team.
