This weekend see’s Halloween coming that much closer and with the children on Mid-Term break here is the round-up of events to keep the whole family happy.


 Friday 23rd

Celine Byrne

Friday night is for the adults with Celine Byrne in concert at the Moat Theatre. The Irish soprano is returning with a range of songs from great opera’s and musicals. Joined on the night with special guests it is set to be a night of fantastic music for everyone.

Declan O’ Rourke

The sell-out show by Declan comes to St. David’s Church in Sallins this Friday night. The acclaimed singer songwriter will be performing his most loved songs on the night with tickets available from the Moat Theatre at €24.

Saturday 24th

Belfast Trip

The latest day trip up to Belfast city and to tour the Titanic Museum leaves 9am this Saturday morning for anyone wanting to visit the tourist attraction. The day trip is priced at €39 and includes the entrance into the museum, a tour of the city and your bus fare. A great opportunity for those interested in the story of the Titanic.

Failte Group

The Naas Cycling Club welcome new members to group cycling by taking them out on a 30km cycle on a Saturday morning from 9.30am. Leaving from K-Leisure every week, if you are interested in joining them on a cycle you are more than happy to pop along with your bike and helmet.

Parkrun

Every week at Naas Racecourse in association with Parkrun you can avail of a free timed 5km run on the grounds. With over 700 events taking place globally the core value is to offer people the opportunity to get fit and healthy for free. All the information you need to partake is in the link above.

Naas Farmers Market

Every week the popular Naas Farmers Market is open from 10am until 3pm and has the best local produce and products available for the public. With a great variety of vendors and hot and cold food to purchase it is a great place to spend a Saturday morning.

Clane Farmers Market

If you are not a local of Naas but still want fresh local produce then Clane Farmers Market could be what you are looking for. Every Saturday morning from 10am the Market is open in Dowling carpark, come along and see what is on offer this week.

Lullymore Halloween Happenings

Halloween is kicked off this weekend at Lullymore Heritage & Discovery Park with a variety of spooky things going on inside. Come in your fancy dress and take a trip on the ‘Terror Train’ or search for the ghouls and ghosts lurking around. Open every day from 10am until 6pm with a trip on the Terror Train included in your entry fee.

Kildare Maze

The Kildare Maze re-opens this Halloween and it is one scary place you don’t want to get lost as the maze is being haunted by witches and ghosts! Pumpkin carving is also available every day, although this is limited. Open daily from 12 to 6pm it is a brilliant place to go with the kids this Halloween.

Sunday 25th

Jackula

The popular and nationwide phenomenal show that is Jackula returns to Moat Theatre this Halloween. The comedy play is a much loved among families across Ireland and always goes down a treat with the kids. Tickets are €6 and are fast sellers so call the box office today if you are interested in attending.
