It was announced recently that Naas would be the new base for the Irish Red Cross training centre for mid-Leinster. This offers the people of Naas and surrounding areas the opportunity to be in close reach of gaining training in the area of First Aid. These are courses that are continually sought from professionals, community volunteers, and for the individual wanting to have this Certificate for personal use and reasons.

Offering a range of courses to the public for personal or professional reasons the Irish Red Cross' new training centre is perfectly located.

Among the courses being offered is occupational first aid, basic emergency first aid, cardiac first responder, family first aid and refreshers courses that are essential both professionally and personally and create a benefit for the entire community.

As it is required by Law for some job sectors to have an up to date First Aid Certificate every two years this new training centre will offer the people of Kildare the opportunity to access training courses at a much closer location.

For those whose occupation requires trained employees, such as in the childcare sector, firefighter volunteers, or those doing security work this centre will be greatly received in the community.

This new training centre will also benefit local sports clubs and those involved in community events as it will provide an extra sense of security knowing that there are trained people on hand, prepared to deal with an injury or an emergency which may occur on the field.

Courses will be available from the 4th of August. To get any further information please call 1890 502 502 or email courses@redcross.ie
