Splate run by the very talented Bernie Everard is a Maynooth based supplier of beautiful slate tableware, cheese-making kits, bespoke trophies and awards, all designed and crafted locally in North Kildare but supplied and enjoyed throughout Ireland by food lovers and craft appreciators.
My company ordered 17 hampers as Christmas gifts from Splate. From start to finish it was a pleasure to deal with Bernie. She met with us at our office and created a bespoke hamper to suit our needs. Arrangements were made to have one of the hampers delivered to Australia, Bernie ensured that it was in compliance and wouldn't be confiscated at customs as there are strict rules about what foods can be sent.
