Coaching Tips _ Relationships

As a business owner or leader, it is important to have strong relationships with your team.

This will help you understand where each team member is in their development. If they are happy and willing to perform and what they want to achieve.

It is important that your employees are given space to speak and feel listened to and are given the opportunity to find the solutions for themselves.

Your emotional intelligence and communication skills will be required in these situations.

🔹When you are speaking to employees don’t focus on the negatives but look at what is working well and let them know you do appreciate them.
🔹Find out how each team member likes to be recognised for doing a good job.
🔹Give regular positive feedback. Don’t wait for a formal process.
🔹Try and see things from your employee’s perspective not from your own.
