Playstival with the Happy Pear is an exciting, new Dublin Festival which will take place in Airfield Estate, Dundrum on 11 & 12 August.
This festival of play is designed to be a fun family day out, encouraging children to experience new activities and to express themselves while exercising their imagination.
The 8 themed universes have been specially selected to encourage kids to participate in hands-on games, creative workshops and fun activities.
The play universes are designed to cater for children from 18 months to 12 years and will be dotted around the estate.
The Happy Pear twins are ambassadors for the importance of healthy food for all so take the opportunity to sample at first hand delicious options including healthy wraps and salads, hot dishes, Happy Pear smoothies, hand-roasted coffees, and a selection of healthier cakes and treats.
The Play Universes will include:
- Festijeux Tactile wooden games by Festijeux
- Construction site for kids
- Architects area focusing on team skills
- Pedal powered train service
- Kid-sized food market
- Games filled animal farm
- Toddler-rific children's island
- Magical wonderland tea party
- Visit the Wild West

- Laughter yoga with Louise
- Storytelling
- Paper Pet Shop - Paper Crafts
- Miss Ali's Stage School - Drama Classes
- Junior Einstein Science Shows
- Sprout Kids - Mindfulness for kids
The Airfield Estate is a unique setting and perfect for this wonderful festival. Airfield has so much to offer for both adults and children with wonderful gardens as well as being a functional urban working farm. Don't miss the egg collections and Jersey Herd milking and tasting.
